Five Tips More Exercise In Your Life

Exercising more doesn’t’ have to be that hard, but why do I make it out like it that hardest thing in the world. Just the other day, there I was saying those words. “I will exercise later in the day or I’ll get to the gym and do my exercise in one hour. Then the next thing you know the day is gone. There I am going to bed and feeling guilty that I didn’t exercise again today.

I can talk myself into all kinds of excuses of why I’ll exercise tomorrow. Here is a good one. “I need to do a load of laundry so I have clothes to exercise in.”

Its clear that exercise is easy and that might be one of the biggest reasons we don’t do it. It’s easy NOT to exercise. I hope the following tips help you, because in just two short years, I have been able to reprogram my little pea brain to remember to exercise 30 to 60 mins per day.

1. Set Your Intentions- Before I would go to bed and when I woke up I put post it’s everywhere reminding me to exercise today. All be it, you can ignore this and keep trotting on though the day, when you put it together with my other tips it begins to get hard to get out of your commitment to exercise.

2. Find a Buddy or Friend- I could go on for days about how much a buddy or friend has kept me from missing a workout, but its clear when you commit to another person or two, its hard to not exercise. I can let myself down, but I can’t let down my friend. Get an online buddy

3. Commit to 21 days- Why is 21 days the magical number? Well I’ve looked around on the net and what the experts are saying is that it takes 21 days to create a new habit for exercise. If you done this before remember when you get about to the 3rd or 4th week of your new exercise program and you started to feel great? (NO? hahah me either… LOL, I’m doing this blog for god sake, because I need you to be as unhappy as I am right now that I’m writing this and not exercising) Please omit the last statement from our minds...
