Many people are suffering from insomnia and most of them are experiencing the fear that comes on having it. Having this health problem is really bothering. If you are working or having classes, insomnia is a big hindrance on achieving good performance. A person having insufficient rest cannot do the tasks well.

There are lots of causes of insomnia. Person who has this should also know the causes as to why he has this sleeping problem for him to know how to resolve it. Insomnia is basically caused by psychological, physical and temporarily events.

In psychological cause, anxiety and depression are on the first row. Anxiety is a common illness wherein an individual is having great fear or worry on something or someone. In this state, a person cannot have his mind relaxed and thus he cannot sleep. On the other side, depression is a mood of disturbance wherein a person is feeling lonesome and discouraged due to his experiences or due to his actual situation. However, psychologists are there to help us. Do not be shy on telling them how you feel and the things about yourself. Drugs are also available to make us fall asleep in a synthetic way.

On physical causes, the decreased on Melatonin (hormone secreted by the body to fall asleep) is the no. 1 culprit. Melatonin secretion of the body decreases as the man goes older. This is the reason behind insomnia on adults. Sleeping pills are also available for this problem. Reliable sleeping aids are the ones made of Melatonin. They can resolve the insomnia in a natural way.

And the last on the three major causes is the occurrence of temporary events. Jet lag is an example of these. Traveling in different airtime zones can really disturb your good night sleep. Of course, we cannot help to travel on different parts of the world as long as we have the budget. In this case, a person does not have to go to doctors or take-in sleeping aids. The sleep cycle will go back when the person is used to the new time zone.

So these are the usual causes of insomnia and the ways on how to overcome them. Insomnia may be an alarming disorder but by knowing the causes and the basic cures, you will find yourself in a deep night sleep.
