The Survivor Worker
The survivor worker I was once a stenographer and typing teacher in one of the private schools here in Negros Oriental Philippines. My teaching load often times decreases since i m handling an associates subject only. I keep on feeling dismay! cried out and felt discourage.and often ridiculed by my fellow workers. I ve been experienced working without pay for the reason i had so many deductions from my salary due to many benefits i cannot even cope up my deduction . It makes my career so depressing , and sometimes decided to resign voluntarily in me teaching job, but most of my students ,friends , colleagues that i should never give up' and never quit my work. for in the end i ll be only the loser, So i continue to report to my work with arms cross and without any complaint. even though my heart is downhearted and feel so ashamed especially when pay day comes. i intentionally be often late to draw my pay, scared to be ridiculed and tease'my betterhalf was the one who supported me in all my needs even we live separately. I m thankful that despite of all my "tough days", am able to survive and reach up my services for 19 years .i m one of the survivor workers in the school where i worked and was able to face the "lemons" and challenges in my life as a typing teacher , oftentimes given underload subject Now im a happy lonely woman living alone with some few friends around , whom i can lend on thier shoulders anytime , i need them. Am proud to say im a survivor coz i m able to pass the storm in my life. and trust all in God. We not worry of what our life would be ", but trust in the will of our Creator in heaven who is the giver of all!
